From SambaPOS, directly
Install BizBiz POS on the same computer as SambaPOS. It finds Samba's database by itself and reads it — nothing is written to Samba.
- Install BizBiz POS and create your account (see the setup guide). Add your menu — or let the import match items by name.
- Open Settings → Import data → SambaPOS and tap “Connect and count”. If Samba uses Windows authentication, enter the SQL user and password (usually “sa”).
- Check the preview: ticket count, date range, payment method mapping (Cash, Credit Card, QR, Alipay…), what to import (discounts, work periods, expenses, customers).
- Tap “Start import”. 15,000 tickets take about two minutes; you can keep working. A backup is taken first and the whole import can be undone with one button.
- Open Reports: revenue, item sales, cash report and hourly charts now include your Samba history. Tap “Send to hub” so the Owner Panel and phone app show it too.
Excel / CSV template
Every POS can export reports. Put them into one of our two templates and upload. Rows with errors are listed with their line number before anything is imported.
- Per ticket — date, time, ticket_no, table, item, qty, unit_price, discount, payment, waiter. All reports work (item sales, hourly, cash). Excel · CSV
- Daily summary — date, revenue, tickets, cash, card, qr, other, expense, note. Revenue, payment, expense and profit reports work; product sales stay empty for those days. Excel · CSV
- Headers may be Turkish, English or Thai. Dates as 2026-09-30 or 30.09.2026. Payment: cash / card / qr / alipay / wechat / grab / other.
- Open Settings → Import data → Excel / CSV, pick the file, check the preview, tap “Start import”.
New computer or a second restaurant
One password-protected file carries everything: sales history, menu, floor plan, printer and receipt settings, finance, customers, employees.
- On the old computer: Settings → Import data → bizbizpos backup → Export my data. Set a file password; keep “POS users and passwords” off if the file goes to another restaurant.
- Copy the .bizbiz file (USB, e-mail, cloud) to the new computer.
- On the new computer install BizBiz POS, activate your license, then Settings → Import data → bizbizpos backup → Load my history.
- Continue this branch — same restaurant, new PC: everything comes as is, ticket numbers continue, POS restarts. Add as history — a new restaurant or branch: sales history comes marked “imported”; users, license and hub settings do not.
Common questions
Can I edit an imported ticket?
No. Imported tickets are read-only; they appear in reports like normal tickets. If something is wrong, undo the import, fix the file and import again.
What if the item names differ from my menu?
Lines are matched by name (case-insensitive). Unmatched lines are kept as text and still count in revenue and item sales; they just are not linked to a menu item.
Can I import twice?
Yes, safely. Each source record is remembered; a second import skips what already exists, so you can import a new period later without duplicates.
Does Samba need to stay installed?
Only while importing. After the import you can remove it; BizBiz keeps the history.
